The review experience is only trustworthy when its history and permissions are trustworthy too.
Does a new version keep the old approval?
No. Approval belongs to one exact revision. Uploading another cut creates a new revision with its own review state, while the earlier decision stays in the history.
Can a client see internal notes or revisions?
No. Client access is authorized on the server. Internal comments and internal-only revisions are excluded before the response reaches the browser.
Is the playback copy my original file?
No. The player uses optimized streaming media. The immutable master is stored separately, so playback derivatives can be regenerated without changing the original.
Can a large upload recover after an interruption?
Yes. Upload progress and offsets are persisted, large files move in bounded chunks, and completion is idempotent so a retry does not create a second revision.
